All are open for the University community to attend.
PhD thesis defences
Matthew Mallette, a PhD candidate in Applied Health Sciences, will defend his thesis, titled “Effects of local muscle temperature manipulations on neuromuscular function,” on Monday, July 15 at 1 p.m. in South Block 361.

Kevin McGuiness, a PhD candidate in Interdisciplinary Humanities, will defend his thesis, titled “The Boogeyman in the Cultural Imaginary: From the Fairytale to the Slasher Film,” on Tuesday, July 16 at 1 p.m. in Welch Hall 147.

Master of Science thesis defence
Heather Marie VanVolkenburg, a Master of Science candidate in the Department of Biological Sciences, will present her thesis defence on Tuesday, July 16 at 10 a.m. in MCH 313.
Her thesis is titled “Exploring Diversified Vineyard Ecological Soil Management Strategies: Impacts of cover cropping, Spanish River Carbonatite, and smooth pigweed (Amaranthus hybridus) interactions on an agroecosystem.”

Master of Arts thesis defence
Xiaoyang (Nick) Xia, a Master of Arts candidate in the Department of Psychology, will defend his thesis, titled “An Alternative Measure for Attitudes towards Bisexual People,” on Thursday, July 18 at 10 a.m. in WH 147.
