Niagara Centre MP Vance Badawey and St. Catharines MP Chris Bittle will visit Brock on Monday, March 25 to celebrate the accomplishments and learn more about the work of the University’s researchers and scholars funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC).
All members of the Brock community are invited to the celebration, which starts at 9 a.m. in Room 207 of the Cairns Family Health and Bioscience Research Complex. There will be remarks and presentations by two research teams.
Also on campus that day will be SSHRC President Ted Hewitt, visiting Brock to discuss institutional priorities with senior administrators. SSHRC is the federal research funding agency that promotes and supports postsecondary-based research and research training in the humanities and social sciences.
