Thesis defences — Feb. 4 to 8

The following is a list of thesis defences taking place at Brock from Feb. 4 to 8.

All are open for the University community to attend.

Applied Disability Studies MA thesis defence

Applied Disabilities Studies student Catherine McHugh will defend the thesis “A Comparison of Modified Food Chaining and Simultaneous Presentation plus Nonremoval of the Spoon for the Treatment of Food Selectivity in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder” on Monday, Feb. 4 at 1 p.m. in TH 150.

The examination committee includes Dawn Zinga, Chair; Kathryn Peterson, External Examiner (Assistant Professor in the University of Nebraska Medical Center); Kimberley Zonneveld, Supervisor; Maurice Feldman, Graduate Program Director and Committee Member; and Ivy Chong, Committee Member.

Geography and Tourism Studies MA thesis defence

Geography and Tourism Studies student Khuraam Farrukh will defend the thesis “Social Media Representations of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, and their Relation to Metropolitan Domination: The Case of Attabad Lake” on Monday, Feb. 4 at 1 p.m. in WH 147.

The examination committee includes Mary-Beth Raddon, Chair; Shafqat Hussain, External Examiner (Associate Professor in the Department of Anthropology, Trinity College); David Butz, Supervisor and Graduate Program Director; and Nancy Cook and Jeff Boggs, Committee Members.
