Brock University Dining Services is expanding its flavour profile with a new on-campus eatery.

The first Pizza Pizza franchise at Brock fires up its ovens on Monday, Jan. 7 at 10 a.m.

Located in the Hungry Badger, Pizza Pizza features a new high-capacity oven and fresh ingredients.

“As part of our strategy for continuous improvements to Brock Dining Services, we selected the Pizza Pizza brand. It is a Canadian national brand that offers consistent, quality offerings at a good price point for students,” says Malcolm Dales, Associate Director, Operations. “Proven to be a brand recognized by students, Pizza Pizza is one of the most frequently mentioned brands when gathering feedback from Brock students.”

Prices at the Hungry Badger location are competitive with local Pizza Pizzas. The menu will feature a single-slice combo, including a large classic pepperoni or cheese slice, cut from an 18-inch pizza, and fountain pop for $4.19.

A cauliflower crust is also available for customers looking for a gluten-free option.

In the coming weeks and months, the menu and service options at Pizza Pizza will continue to expand. Additional appetizers, including chicken wings and sides, will be added to the menu as well as the launch of a Pizza Pizza residence delivery program and daily catering including a pre-order option for departments across campus.
