The aroma of coffee once again is flowing through the hallways near Schmon Tower.
A grand opening for the revamped Tim Hortons at the base of the tower is being celebrated Monday, Nov. 19 beginning at 7:30 a.m.
The first 50 customers receive a free small or medium hot beverage of their choice.
The newly renovated location includes state-of-the-art coffee brewers, a premium frozen beverage machine and all-day breakfast, which features bagels and breakfast sandwiches.
“A big thank you to the Brock community for their patience as we underwent the renovations,” said Malcolm Dales Associate Director, Operations Ancillary Services. “We are excited to expand the Tim Hortons menu on campus, and look forward to the unveiling of additional brands over the coming months.”
Staff will be handing out samples of the new frozen beverage line between 11 a.m. and noon during the grand opening.
The new Tim’s also accepts meal plan dollars, dining dollars, flex dollars, cash, credit and debit.
Hours of operation:
- Monday to Thursday — 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Friday — 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Saturday — 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Sunday — 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Next up for Dining Services at Brock is the launch of Pizza Pizza in the Hungry Badger located in the Walker Sports Complex.
