Master of Science thesis defences
Amanda Burden, a Master of Science candidate in the Earth Sciences Department, will present her thesis defence by video conference on Wednesday, Nov. 28 at 9 a.m. in WH 147.
Her thesis is titled “The Evolution of East Candor Chasma, Valles Marineris, Mars: Proposed Structural Collapse and Sedimentation.”

Maria Makarova, a PhD candidate in the Chemistry Department, will present her thesis defence on Friday, Nov. 30 at 12:15 p.m. in PLZ 601C.
Her thesis is titled “Chemoenzymatic Total Synthesis of ent-Oxycodon.”

Social Justice and Equity Studies MA thesis defence
Social Justice and Equity Studies student Jennifer Cabot will defend the thesis “Is the Glass Half-Empty or Half-Full? An Exploratory Study of Defence Lawyers’ Constructions of Plea Negotiations and Accused Persons’ Rights within the Ontario Criminal Justice System” on Friday, Nov. 30 at 9 a.m. in WH 147.
