The following is a list of thesis defences taking place at Brock from Dec. 3 to 7.

All are open for the University community to attend.

Environmental Sustainability Research Centre MA thesis defence

Master of Sustainability student Alison Feist will defend the thesis “Dissecting Collaboration in Environmental Management and Governance: Examining Qualities, Outcomes and Relationships” on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 1 p.m. in Theal House Boardroom.

The examination committee includes Dawn Zinga, Chair; Prateep Nayak, External Examiner (Associate Professor, University of Waterloo); Ryan Plummer, Supervisor; Marilyne Jollineau, Graduate Program Director; Julia Baird, Committee Member and Jennifer Fresque-Baxter, Committee Member.

Social Justice and Equity Studies MA thesis defence

Social Justice and Equity Studies student Kailey Kelly will defend the thesis “Wearing Yourself or Dressing the Part: Navigating Workplace Dress Codes as Queer, Androgynous Women” on Friday, Dec. 7 at 10 a.m. in WH 147.

The examination committee includes Dawn Zinga Chair; Kirsten Dellinger, External Examiner (Professor of Sociology, University of Texas); Rebecca Raby, Supervisor; Mary Breunig, Graduate Program Director; Margot Francis, Committee Member and Andrea Doucet, Committee Member.
