Brian Parsons (BAdmin ’90), left, accepts the 2018 Goodman School of Business Distinguished Graduate award from Dean Andrew Gaudes during Homecoming weekend in September.Brian Parsons (BAdmin ’90) manages the Canadian operations for one of the world’s largest risk management firms — and on Thursday he’ll return to his old stomping grounds to share industry insight with the next generation.
Parsons will be honoured at a special Nov. 15 reception as the recipient of the 2018 Goodman School of Business Distinguished Graduate Award. He was first named as this year’s award-winner at Brock’s Homecoming celebration in September.
Parsons, President and CEO Canada Region of Willis Towers Watson, has close to three decades of experience as a trusted insurance and risk management professional and has wide-ranging knowledge on people and risk issues.
Since graduating, he has maintained his connection to Brock and Goodman, including recently hosting a Goodman alumni roundtable at his office.
Goodman Dean Andrew Gaudes invites the Brock community to attend the reception and hear Parsons’ insights and experiences first-hand.
“We’re very proud to have Brian as a representative of our School,” he said. “He’s a great speaker, very engaging and has a lot to offer anyone who wants to hear his thoughts.”
The reception runs from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the Goodman School of Business Atrium.
