Women’s leadership summit returns to Brock Saturday

Women from across Niagara — and their male allies — will come together for a day of leadership and empowerment at Brock University Saturday.

For the fifth time, the main campus will play host to the Niagara Leadership Summit for Women on Oct. 27.

Hosted by the University and the YWCA Niagara Region, the community event will focus on the theme of “Make Your Move. Together.” The summit is open to the public and will see female leaders and allies from across Niagara gathering together to connect, share goals and challenges, and network with like-minded community leaders.

This year’s keynote speaker, internationally renowned writer, editor and artist Kim Katrin Milan, will talk about celebrating strength. Her presentation will be followed by other sessions throughout the day, including workshops from Brock faculty members Angela Book, Diane Dupont and Ingrid Makus, alumna Jessica Lewis (BRLS ’18) and current Political Science and French student Hope Tuff-Berg.
