Thesis defences — Oct. 29 to Nov. 2

The following is a list of thesis defences taking place at Brock from Oct. 29 to Nov. 2.

All are open for the University community to attend.

Master of Education thesis defence

Education student Sheri Mallabar will defend her thesis “Stay, Play, and Talk: A Peer-Mediated Social Skills Program for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Other Social Communication Difficulties (Phase IV)” on Wednesday, Oct. 31 at 10 a.m. in WH 147.

The examination committee includes Fiona Blaikie, Chair; Kendra Thomson, External Examiner; Kimberly Maich, Supervisor; and Catherine Hands and Tricia Vause, Committee Members.

Master of Science thesis defences

Alyssa Davis, a MSc candidate in the Earth Sciences Department, will present her thesis, Atmospheric and environmental interpretations of Early Paleozoic halite (Upper Ordovician, Hudson Bay Basin, and Upper Silurian, Michigan Basin), by videoconference on Friday, Nov. 2 at 1 p.m. in WH147.  

Her examination committee members include Cheryl McCormick, Chair; Robert Rainbird, External Examiner (Geological Survey of Canada Natural Resources Canada, Ottawa); Uwe Brand, Supervisor; and Nigel Blamey and John Menzies, Committee Members.
