Participants needed for zine workshop

With zines making a comeback in a big way, the Centre for Studies in Arts and Culture is hosting a zine-making workshop on Thursday, Oct. 18 at the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts.

The session will be run by Christine Cucciniello and will take place from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. in MWS 229A (inside the Learning Commons).

The event is part of the school’s annual Walker Cultural Leader’s Series.

A zine is a small, non-commercial, often homemade publication.

In this three-hour workshop, Cucciniello, a zine author, will help participants create a common zine. Brock staff, faculty and students are invited to join the fun, creative experience. Each participant will receive a copy of the zine.
