Members of the Brock community are encouraged to complete nominations for the University’s 2018 Accessibility and Inclusion Award.
The honour, which is presented annually to a volunteer, student, staff or faculty member who has made an outstanding contribution in the area of accessibility and inclusion, will be presented on Monday, Dec. 3 to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
Previous winners of the award have included Keely Grossman (BA ’17), the Founder of ABLE Brock and Jessica Lewis (BRLS ’18), disability advocate and Paralympian.
Each nomination requires the name and contact information of the person submitting the form as well as a description of the nominee’s outstanding service to accessibility or inclusive practise.
Nominations must be accompanied by two letters of support and submitted to clytle@brocku.ca by Nov. 23.
