Brock students and employees will come together Sunday, Sept. 16 for the annual St. Catharines Terry Fox Run — but additional support for the team is still needed.
Members of the Brock community are asked to come out and run, walk, bike or rollerblade at Lakeside Park to raise money for cancer research.
Over the past three years, teams from Brock have raised more than $2,000 for the Terry Fox Foundation.
Money raised through the event supports the Terry Fox Research Institute, which funds vital cancer research, including work being done at Brock.
To share word of the research taking place on campus, Brock researchers and senior administration will speak at the various Terry Fox Runs taking place across Niagara Sunday.
Those interested in joining Brock’s Terry Fox Run team are invited to sign up and donate on the Terry Fox Foundation’s website.
Registration for the St. Catharines Terry Fox Run will begin at 9 a.m. with the run getting underway at 10 a.m.
