Goodman speaker series returns to highlight recent research advances

The Goodman School of Business is kicking off the 13th instalment of its Luncheon Speaker Series this week by welcoming international human resources scholar Bryant Hudson to Brock.

Hudson, a professor of Human Resource Management at IÉSEG School of Management in Paris, France, will talk about his research, which examines the role of collectively experienced rage and institutional disruption in workplaces and the resulting institutional responses.

His presentation, focusing on his paper “Collective rage, power and institutions: Examining the process of institutional disruption, defense and reaction,” will take place Friday, Sept. 7.

The speaker series provides an informal opportunity to listen to and discuss recent advances in research, teaching and practices with international business colleagues.

The talk will run from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in Goodman School of Business Room 308. Goodman faculty, staff and graduate students are invited to attend. Brock community members wishing to attend can email Jennifer Brisson at jbrisson@brocku.ca to reserve a seat.
