The community barbecue is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 23 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Jubilee Court and will include remarks from President Gervan Fearon. The rain location is Market Hall.
Tickets are $5 each and must be purchased at the Thistle Welcome Desk / Brock Card Office by Tuesday, Aug. 21.
Brock employees can select one of three menu options served with side salads, beverages and a dessert:
- bourbon beef brisket with Niagara peach glaze
- tequila lime cilantro grilled chicken
- sweet potato stuffed with quinoa, black bean and roasted peppers with balsamic drizzle (vegan)
Last year’s event drew about 400 staff and faculty members.
