Thesis defences — Aug. 7 to 10

The following is a list of thesis defences taking place at Brock from Aug. 7 to 10.

All are open for the University community to attend.

Psychology MA thesis defences

Psychology student Elvira Prusaczyk will defend the thesis “Women’s Responses to Sexist Humour: Predictors of Favourable Reactions and Prejudice-Related Consequences of Exposure” on Wednesday, Aug. 8 at 10 a.m. in PL 600F.

The examination committee includes Dawn Zinga, Chair; Kimberly Gammage, External Examiner (Brock University); Gordon Hodson, Supervisor; and Michael Ashton and Tony Bogaert, Committee Members.

 

Psychology student Khadija Dairywala will defend the thesis “The Rise in Reward Sensitivity — Exploring the Role of Culture and Parental Education on Adolescent Development” on Thursday, Aug. 9 at 1 p.m. in PL 600F.

The examination committee includes Rosemary Condillac, Chair; Sandeep Mishra, External Examiner (University of Regina); Elizabeth Shulman, Supervisor; and Anthony Volk and Teena Willoughby, Committee Members.
