Thesis defences — June 4 to 8

The following is a list of thesis defences taking place at Brock from June 4 to 8.

All are open for the University community to attend.

Health Sciences MSc thesis defence

Faculty of Applied Health Sciences student Liisa Wainman will defend the thesis “Investigating the effect of isometric handgrip training frequency on cardiovascular health in medicated hypertensives” on Monday, June 4 at 10 a.m. in South Block 361.

The examination committee includes Hui Di Wang, Chair; Gary Hodges, External Examiner (Brock University); Deborah O’Leary, Supervisor; and David Ditor and Cheri McGowan, Advisory Committee Members.

Community Health MA thesis defence

Faculty of Applied Health Sciences student Christian (Tia) Rogers-Jarrell will defend the thesis “Through Their Eyes: Exploring older adults’ experiences with an intergenerational project” on Wednesday, June 6 at 2 in South Block 361.

The examination committee includes Martin Tammemagi, Chair; Kimberley Gammage, External Examiner (Brock University); Paula Gardner, Supervisor; and Miya Narushima and Colleen Whyte, Advisory Committee members.
