Thesis defences — June 25 to 29

The following is a list of thesis defences taking place at Brock from June 25 to 29.

All are open for the University community to attend.

Health and Physical Education MA thesis defence

Faculty of Applied Health Sciences student Mishka Blacker will defend the thesis “Attachment and Performance Under Pressure on a Sport Motor Task” on Wednesday, June 27 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Walker Complex 203

The examination committee includes Timothy Fletcher, Chair; Linda Rose-Krasmor, External Examiner (Brock University); Philip Sullivan, Supervisor; and Diane Mack and Michael Ashton, Advisory Committee Members.

Psychology MA thesis defence

Psychology student Brent Pitchford will defend the thesis “Self-Control and its Influence on Global/Local Processing: An Investigation of the Role of Frontal Alpha Asymmetry and Dispositional Approach Tendencies” on Wednesday, June 27 at 1 p.m. in PLZ 600F. 

The examination committee includes Dawn Zinga, Chair; Mark Fenske, External Examiner (University of Guelph); Karen Arnell, Supervisor; and Sid Segalowitz and Stephen Emrich, Committee Members.
