The following is a list of thesis and portfolio defences taking place at Brock from May 7 to 11.

All are open for the University community to attend.

PhD in Educational Studies portfolio defence

Education student Brandy Doan will defend the portfolio “Building Confidence Through Personal Self-Assessment and Growth Mindset” on Tuesday, May 8 at 2 p.m. in WH 147.

The examination committee includes Camille Rutherford, Chair; Ruth McQuirter, External Examiner (Brock University); Susan Drake, Supervisor; Vera Woloshyn, Committee Member; and Dragana Martinovic, Committee Member (University of Windsor).

Critical Sociology MA thesis defence

Critical Sociology student Grace Maich will defend the thesis, “Precarious Work and Communities: The Impact of Neoliberalism on Working Class Politics,” on Thursday, May 10 at 1:30 p.m. in WH 147.

The examination committee includes Dawn Zinga, Chair; Wayne Lewchuk, External Examiner (McMaster University);  Jonah Butovsky, Supervisor; and June Corman and Kendra Coulter, Committee Members.
