Nominations and applications are being sought for two professional librarian career opportunities with Brock University Library.
As a member of the senior leadership team, the Associate University Librarian, Academic Services will develop and implement the Library’s strategic priorities and objectives; deliver services and curricular initiatives that advance student success; and oversee innovative physical and virtual spaces.
The appointment, available as of August, will be for a five-year term, renewable, with an underlying librarian appointment.
The Geospatial/GIS Services Librarian will help grow the Library’s geospatial data and map collections; engage in outreach initiatives that promote integration of geospatial technologies into curriculum and research; and co-ordinate, promote and deliver the Library’s GIS/geospatial data services. This one-year, limited-term position is available as of July 1.
