The following is a list of thesis defences taking place at Brock from April 9 to 13.

All are open for the University community to attend.

PhD in Educational Studies Comprehensive Portfolio Defence 

Education student Ghazala Ahmed will defend the portfolio “Finding my Authentic Self as an Immigrant Woman and as an Academic” on Tuesday, April 10 at 1 p.m. in WH 147.

The examination committee includes Jennifer Rowsell, Chair; Susan Tilley, External Examiner (Brock University); Kamini Jaipal-Jamani, Supervisor; Dolana Mogadime, Committee Member; and Andrew Allen, Committee Member (University of Windsor).

Marketing thesis defence

Marketing student Yu Hang (Francis) Lau will defend his Master of Science thesis, “The effect of brand differentiation: The moderating effect of product knowledge,” Friday, April 13 at 10:15 a.m. in Sankey Chamber.

The examination committee includes Brent Faught, Professor of Health Science (Chair); Associate Dean, Research and Graduate Programs and Professor of Marketing and Product Innovation (Supervisor); Todd Green, Associate Professor of Marketing; Kai-Yu Wang, Associate Professor of Marketing; and Leyland Pitt, Professor of Marketing, Simon Fraser University (External Examiner).
