A  mechanical equipment failure in H Block on Thursday afternoon (April 26) set off fire alarms and led to the temporary evacuation of Mackenzie Chown Complex.

The fire department ventilated affected buildings, and the Chown Complex was reopened shortly after 4:30 pm.
