There’s a movement afoot to transform the Brock campus into a sea of red on Wednesday.

The Brock community is invited to celebrate ‘Red Wednesday’ in support of the men’s basketball team’s Wilson Cup semifinal game and the men’s hockey team OUA West final series opener. Both games are being held Wednesday, Feb. 28 with the basketball team playing at home and the hockey team playing on the road at York.

Everyone is encouraged to wear their favourite Brock or Badger clothing — especially if it’s red. Anyone in need of new gear can head to the Campus Store’s pop-up shop in the Thistle Hallway, where there will be sales on red items and special incentives for Wilson Cup ticket holders.

Tickets are now sold out for the basketball home game, but the game will be streamed free online.

The men’s hockey team plays its series opener against York Wednesday in Toronto and then hosts York Friday, March 2 at 7:15 p.m. at Seymour Hannah Sports and Entertainment Complex. Tickets for that game can be purchased at the Walker Sports Complex Welcome Desk or by calling x4060.
