Viva Voce! Choral Series returns with Brock University Choirs

The Brock University Choirs is set to present its first concert of the 2017-18 season.

The Viva Voce! Choral Series kicks off with Wintersong, featuring works for voices, percussion and violin and conducted by Rachel Rensink-Hoff. The concert takes place Saturday, Dec. 2 at 7:30 p.m. in the Cairns Recital Hall at the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre.

Winterson features an eclectic range of choral music from Handel’s well-known anthem, The King Shall Rejoice, Mendelssohn’s Laudate Pueri Dominum and The Vagabond by Vaughan Williams. The concert also features contemporary compositions by Sarah Quartel, Matthew Emery and Eric Barnum and new arrangements by Clifton Noble, Brian Holmes and Harris Loewen.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and students and $5 through the eyeGo program. Tickets will be sold through the FirstOntario PAC Box Office by phone at 905-688-0722 or online.
