The following is a list of thesis defences taking place at Brock from Nov. 6 to 10.
All are open for the University community to attend.
Master of Arts thesis defence
Parmida Razavi will defend her Master of Arts in Health and Physical Education thesis by video conference on Wednesday, Nov. 8 from 9 a.m. to noon in Academic South 361.
Her thesis is titled “How Nonverbal Behaviour and Game Context Alter Athletes Perception: A Study of Nonverbal Influence on Expectancy of Success and Impression Formation in Different Game Scenarios, Immediately after an Opponent’s Mistake.”
Her examination committee members include Dr. Brian Roy, Chair; Dr. Philip Sullivan, Supervisor; Drs. David Gabriel and Kimberly Gammage, Advisory Committee members; Dr. Iain Greenlees, External Examiner (University of Chichester).
Master of Science thesis defence
Samin Tajik, a candidate in the Department of Physics, will present her Master of Science thesis defence on Friday, Nov. 10 at 1 p.m. in Welch Hall 147.
Her thesis is titled “Effect of Rattling Phonon on Superconductivity of KOs2O6.”
