The assistant professor of commerce at University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce will discuss his paper, Man on the Bench: The Power of the Stick in the Sales Force, as part of Goodman’s Luncheon Speaker Series.
Boichuk’s research focuses on tactics, such as commission and punishment, sales leaders use to manage the performance of their sales forces and examines the effect that punishment has on employee performance.
Now in its 12th year, Goodman’s Luncheon Speaker Series provides an informal and engaging opportunity to listen to and discuss recent advances in research, teaching and practices with colleagues internationally.
The event is held in Sankey Chambers on Friday, Nov. 10 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Space is limited.
