Brock International is welcoming students to celebrate a traditional Canadian Thanksgiving.
The event, open to all Brock students, takes place Friday, Oct. 6 from 6 to 9 p.m. in the International Centre lobby.
The Thanksgiving celebration is meant to introduce international students to the tradition, while also providing a fun get-together for students unable to make it home to mark the holiday with their own friends and family.
The buffet-style meal includes turkey with all the fixings — mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, cranberries, honey-glazed carrots and salad.
Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased at the International Centre’s second-floor welcome desk.
Participants are asked to register at the welcome desk before end of day Wednesday, Oct. 4 to guarantee their spot.
