Brock University’s administrative offices will be closed for the Civic Holiday long weekend from Saturday, Aug. 5 to Tuesday, Aug. 8.

Here’s a look at what’s open and closed over the next few days:

Campus Security
The office will be closed, however, officers are available 24/7 by phoning x3200, via emergency phones on campus, by e-mailing security@brocku.ca or through the Brock Mobile App.

James A. Gibson Library

The Library closes at 5 p.m. on Friday and will remain closed until 8 a.m. Tuesday. The Map Library closes at 4:30 p.m. on Friday and re-opens at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Walker Complex/The Zone

The Walker Sports Complex is open for normal hours on Friday (7 a.m. to 7 p.m.), Saturday and Sunday (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.), and is then completely closed on Monday. Normal operations resume at 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Food Services

DeCew Dining Hall will be open Saturday for breakfast only from 5:30 to 9 a.m., on Sunday for breakfast from 5:30 to 8 a.m. and again for dinner from 7 to 8 p.m. and on Monday for breakfast from 6:15 to 9 a.m. and again for dinner from 7 to 8 p.m.

All other retail locations are closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday, but will resume normal hours on Tuesday morning.

Parking Services

The Parking Services office will be open until 4:30 p.m. Friday and will remain closed until 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The Lot D kiosk will be open until 5 p.m. Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday and will be closed Sunday and Monday. Paid parking is still available through the pay and display kiosks.
