Brock Media Clips for Wednesday, Aug. 9

Here’s a look at some of the media attention Brock University received recently.

Understanding through sport: Seventeen Japanese basketball players and seven coaches spent Tuesday morning on campus undergoing a training session with Steve Lidstone, manager of Brock’s High Performance Centre. Coverage of their visit, part of the Niagara International Friendship Exchanges for Education program, appeared in all Postmedia Niagara dailies and weeklies.

Getting to Canada took Zimbabwe rowers 44 hours: Rowers travelling from Zimbabwe to St. Catharines to participate in the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta ran into several hurdles before arriving for their stay at Brock University. Their story was featured in the St. Catharines Standard, and reprinted in the Niagara Falls Review and Welland Tribune.
