Brock employees and their families are invited to make a splash during an early Canada Day celebration this weekend.

A Family Fun Swim will take place at the University’s pool on Saturday, June 24 from 1 to 3 p.m.

Following the afternoon dip, families will be invited to enjoy cake in honour of Canada’s 150th birthday.

Employees are asked to pick up their complimentary event tickets at the Walker Sports Complex Welcome Desk by Thursday.

Both adults and children are welcome to attend, but caregivers must be present in the pool with children at all times.

Anyone bringing children should be mindful the pool’s shallowest point is still two-and-a-half feet.

The event is sponsored by Brock Youth Programs and Health, Safety and Wellness.
