A draft version of the University’s new Strategic Mandate Agreement (SMA) is now available for review.
Members of the Brock community are encouraged to read the document, accessible online through a Brock log-in ID.
They are also encouraged to attend a Town Hall meeting Friday, March 31 to provide feedback on the draft document. The meeting will be in Pond Inlet from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
SMAs, which all Ontario universities and colleges are required negotiate with the provincial government, are documents in which institutions identify their strengths and priorities, as well as key programs that they would like to expand.
Guidelines set out by the province call for SMAs to be updated every three years. Brock signed its first SMA with the government in 2014, and will be completing its new document this spring.
