Dec. 21 maintenance will silence phones and elevators

A late-night maintenance project on Wednesday 21 Dec will temporarily shut down most of Brock’s telephone system as well as elevators on campus.

Information Technology Services (ITS) says the maintenance is to start at 10 p.m. and is expected to last four hours.

During the shutdown, phones will be out of service at the following locations:
•   Main Campus
•   East Campus (573 A/B Glenridge Ave.)
•   BRIC (170 Lockhart Drive)
•   Rodman Hall
•   Marilyn I Walker School for Fine and Performing Arts
•   Quarryview Residences
•   Gateway Residences

Phones at the Hamilton Campus will continue to function, but will not have direct contact (four-digit dialing) to Brock extensions that are affected during the maintenance.

All campus elevators will also be offline during this maintenance. Except for authorized personnel, no entry will be allowed to any building, including by card access.

The emergency contact number for the duration of the upgrade will be 905-688-6300.

If you have questions about this outage, contact Andy Morgan, Director of Client Services, at ext. 4760.
