To all students at Brock University,

I am writing with the sincere wish that this Christmas season will help you to let go of the old and end the year on a cheerful note.  When you let go of the old, you take a step toward a fresher and brighter new year. Every step you take in life means that you are moving closer to a successful future.

I know that we have all faced challenging moments, but now you have a break to find your spirit to overcome those challenges in the new year. Don’t give up too soon, and remember the door does not open on its own, you need to turn the knob. And when you open that door, you have to be ready, you have to put 100 per cent of your time and effort into your studies.

Brock can only help shine a light on the end of the pathway. It’s up to you to get there.
