Fall Preview Day this Sunday at Brock

When it comes to choosing a post-secondary institution, first impressions are important.

That’s why the Brock’s recruitment team have been working so hard with departments and faculties across the University, preparing for Fall Preview Day this Sunday, Nov. 6 from noon to 4 p.m.

It’s the annual event where thousands of prospective students and their families visit the campus to learn about our programs, facilities and student services from residences to dining options.

Fall Preview Day is targeted at high school students as well at those looking to transfer from other post-secondary institutions, and prospective graduate students.

“It’s the first major campus event for visitors in the recruitment cycle, and it presents a wonderful opportunity for this year’s prospective applicants to experience Brock,” says Beth Natale, Director, Recruitment. “Guests will see first-hand that our safe, contemporary and beautiful campus in vibrant Niagara provides students with a quality student experience which is easily reached from the GTA.”

Fall Preview Day visits begin at the Information Fair in the Ian Beddis Gymnasium, where prospective students can meet with faculty, staff and current Brock students before taking a campus tour.

“Representatives from virtually every program and service we offer are part of the day, delivering information sessions, experience opportunities and addressing the questions of prospective students and their families,” says Melissa Beamer, Manager, Recruitment Services. “The day also provides guests to get a feel for Brock’s campus community, and what it feels like to be part of this wonderful place.”
