Brock University’s teaching assistant day is being held Saturday, Sept. 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

TA day offers a full day of professional development for new and returning Brock teaching assistants, marker graders, lab demonstrators and tutorial leaders.

Participants will learn about TA roles and responsibilities while developing the skill set required for these positions. They will learn effective teaching strategies and become familiar with the opportunities and resources available. Sessions include topics like: What to do the First Day and Marking and Grading. Participants in the full day conference earn three TA credits towards a TA certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.
