Due to a forecasted thunderstorm, Thursday’s Opening of Term Celebration will be held in Market Hall.

Acting President Brian Hutchings will host the event, which will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 25.

The event kicks off the 2016/17 school year.

Environment Canada reports the risk of a thunderstorm Thursday afternoon. Throughout the day, it forecasts a mix of sun and cloud with 60 percent chance of showers. Wind is expected to be gusting to 40km/hour near noon.
