Many in the Brock community will be saddened to learn of the death of Dorothy Fast, who worked in various capacities at the University in a career that spanned four decades.

Dorothy began as a full-time employee at Brock in August 1972, though in recent years she had taken a number of leaves due to illness. She passed away on June 15 after a nine-year battle with cancer.

Having joined Brock as an operator in the Registrar’s Office, her subsequent roles included cashier in the Finance department, Secretary to the Dean of Students, promotions coordinator in the Bookstore and clothing/memorabilia buyer in the Badger Shop.

The family will receive friends at the St. Catharines United Mennonite Church, 335 Linwell Rd. on Monday, June 20 from 12:30-2:30 pm. A private family service will be held.
