PODCAST: Business student Mikayla Zolis on Conversations with Goodman

This week on Conversations with Goodman, host Susan LeBlanc talks to second-year business co-op student Mikayla Zolis about her co-curricular involvement and what has made her first two years at Brock’s Goodman School of Business a success.

Zolis was hired at the end of her first year by the Goodman Career Development Office as a junior career associate. She worked full-time last summer and part-time through the academic year to promote Goodman Career’s services and resources to her peers and to offer advice and guidance on resume and cover letter writing, LinkedIn profiles and interviews.

This year she also got involved with the Brock Innovation Group, serving as their vice-president internal and helping run the Monster Pitch competition last March.

Also in March, Zolis impressed judges and faculty by winning three internal case competitions in a row.

As she starts a co-op work term at RBC in Toronto this summer, Zolis encourages her peers to participate in co-curricular activities as much as possible and looks forward to returning to campus when her co-op work terms ends.

This podcast is the latest in the Conversations with Goodman series which is produced by the Goodman Marketing, Communications and Alumni Relations team and features guests from the Goodman community.
