Kristen Smith has been elected as the representative of the permanent staff to the Board of Trustees.

She will serve a three-year term, effective July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2019, and joins continuing staff representative Gloria Gallagher.

Phil Nardangeli has held the position for the past three years. His term on the board ends on June 30, 2016.

Four individuals ran in the election and over 375 ballots were received. The Board of Trustees recognizes the importance of having staff representation on the board.

For those staff who are interested in serving on the board in the future, please note that there will be an opportunity in 2017 for the election of a permanent staff representative to fill one of the staggered, three-year term vacancies.
