Town halls on March 21, 28 will give update on Brock’s new finance system

As Brock’s new Workday finance system is being prepared for its scheduled launch this spring, two town hall meetings later this month will update faculty and staff on the project and help them plan their training.

The town halls will be in Pond Inlet. The first is Monday, March 21 from 9:30-10:30 a.m., and the second session will be Monday, March 28 from 2-3 p.m.

At both meetings, the project team will explain training schedules in April and May, where staff and faculty will learn the new system. They will also discuss ongoing supports to be in place for users after the new system is launched on May 1.

People wanting to attend one of the meetings need to pre-register by emailing their name and preferred date to Karen Roberts kroberts@brocku.ca.

Brock will be the first Canadian university to embrace the cloud-based Workday system, which is now in use by more than 1,000 organizations, including VISA, Yale University and HP.

Information and FAQs about the new system are available at www.brocku.ca/workday.
