STEAM meets social innovation

Feel passionate about a social issue? Interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art or Math? Introduce your STEAM skills to the social issues you care about and explore how they work together.

With more access to information, technology and resources, we have the ability to team up and find a solution to pressing social issues. Using STEAM skills help create a better world through innovation.

On Saturday, March 5, from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. students aged 12 and up will have the opportunity to engage with industry professionals, young entrepreneurs and community mentors to collaborate about how to use STEAM skills to engage in social topics that matter.

The event will take place at the ihub at the DSBN Academy and include several guest speakers, including Kyle Rose, president of BUSU at Brock University.
