Renowned University of Maryland professor invited to speak at Goodman School of Business

Roland Rust, Distinguished Professor and David Bruce Smith Chair in Marketing at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business, is set to visit Brock University’s Goodman School of Business this week.

Held as part of Goodman’s Luncheon Speaker Series, this marketing-focused presentation will explore his latest paper entitled “Brand Buzz in the Echoverse.”

The paper, forthcoming in the Journal of Marketing, looks at the evolving world of marketing communications and examines how organizations must alter their communications strategies accordingly.

“We are honoured to have Professor Rust joining our presentation series and look forward to hearing more about his contribution to brand communications literature,” says Associate Dean of Research and Graduate Programs Ernest Biktimirov.

In its 11th year, Goodman’s Luncheon Speaker Series provides an informal and engaging opportunity to listen and discuss recent advances in research, teaching and practices with colleagues across North America.

The event is being held in Sankey Chambers on Friday, March 4 from 12:30-2 p.m. Space is limited. Goodman faculty, staff and graduate students are invited to attend. Brock community members wishing to attend can email Betty McDowell at bmcdowell@brocku.ca to RSVP.
