The Campus Store is calling all creative and artistic students to participate in the first annual Design Challenge.
Artists are asked to submit T-shirt designs by Tuesday, March 8 for their chance to win a coveted spot on the shelves at the Campus Store this September. Winners will not only get their T-shirt featured in the store, they will receive 10 free shirts and 12 per cent of the revenue generated by their design will be donated to a charity or club on campus of their choice. All branding and contest details can be found at CampusStore.brocku.ca/designchallenge
Also coming up at the Campus Store is the “Would U Rep It” event, where students will have the chance to give their feedback on some new products being considered for the store. Director Dan Lewis says spring is the time when Campus Store buyers are collecting ideas and making decisions for next year’s products.
“We want to ensure we are bringing in products and designs that resonate with the community at Brock”, says Lewis “What better way to align with that then simply ask?”
The Would U Rep It? design event is Thursday, March 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Campus Store, where potential products and clothing designs for this will be on display.
“Vote on your favourites, tell us what you think is ugly or what we’re missing,” says Kate Dudley, Coordinator Marketing and Communications. “Our staff will be on the floor ready for your ideas.”
During the event, the Campus Store will also be offering buy one, get one deals on clothing and draw opportunities for Campus Store prize packs.
Campus Store is also running a survey for students about the options offered at Brock. Students who complete the 10-minute survey will be entered to win a $100 gift card. The survey can be found at www.surveymonkey.com/r/HSPP7CC
