A Brock University professor will talk about his fascinating and newly published research Saturday on a popular CBC Radio show.
Glenn Tattersall led a research team that discovered a type of lizard that can temporarily produce and retain its own body heat, increasing our understanding of so-called “cold-blooded” animals.
The research team’s findings, Seasonal reproductive endothermy in tegu lizards, was published Friday in Science Advances.
Saturday at noon, Tattersall will be on CBC Radio One’s Quirks and Quarks with host Bob McDonald to talk about the research and why it’s so significant.
The interview will also be available online after it airs. It will also appear on the Quirks and Quarks podcast.
