PODCAST: Business competition students on Conversations with Goodman

This week’s Conversations with Goodman podcast features Goodman JDCC co-captains James Fioretti and Dayna Stephenson.

Host Susan LeBlanc talks to the two students, both in Goodman’s business administration program, about what competing at JDCC is like and the awards that the Goodman delegation won at this year’s competition.

JDCC is a competition that brings together 700 delegates from 14 business schools in Ontario, Québec and the Maritime provinces.

After eight months of preparation, 47 Goodman students competed earlier this month in Toronto. The team’s hard work was rewarded, winning first place in participation and engagement, second place in the entrepreneurship and finance categories, fourth place in debate and fourth place overall.

This is the latest in the Conversations with Goodman series which is produced by the Goodman Marketing, Communications and Alumni Relations team and features guests from the Goodman community. The previous episode featured Goodman graduate Tabish Gill (BAcc ’07) discussing his career path and explaining why he remains involved with Brock University, now from the employer side.
