Active citizenship symposium on Jan. 29

The Department of Dramatic Arts at the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts is hosting a Drama in Education and Applied Theatre Symposium on Active Citizenship on Jan. 29.

The topic of the symposium is the role of Drama in Education and Applied Theatre in exploring concepts of citizenship, community and care as they relate to living with others in structured and unstructured spaces.

This keynote address, Pedagogy of Time and Place by Kathleen Gould, and response by Jonothan Neelands, are open to the public.

Admission is free for the 7 p.m. event being held at the MIWSFPA in downtown St. Catharines.
