The following message is sent to Brock students from University Chancellor Shirley Cheechoo:

Wishing you all happy holidays. Leave the books closed and turn your hearts to your families and friends.  Let the star shine on your special place, a place you call home.

I want you to think of children who are less fortunate, light a candle and send your love and prayers to them. The more of us who do this, a great positive energy will be created, and it will put a light in your heart and also in the children your thoughts will reach. We can all channel peace of mind to others who are in need.

I send my love and heartfelt greetings to everyone at Brock and to all the people who Brock has touched in some way. Remember your star, and may your star watch over you as you travel back to your studies. Every year has challenges, so come back strong and keep up with the new momentum. I wish you a successful year.
