The Brock University Badgers men’s and women’s basketball teams are both ranked in the CIS Top 10 for the first time together since the 2006-07 season.
The Brock men open the 2015-16 CIS rankings in fourth spot after finishing the pre-season with 7-0 record against CIS opponents. The Badgers posted victories over Brandon (103-86), Winnipeg (81-52), Manitoba (79-75), Victoria (99-69), Concordia (74-68), Ryerson (92-83) and Windsor (94-92) in the pre-season.
The Brock women find themselves ranked No. 6 in the first 2015-16 CIS rankings of the season. The Badgers posted a 4-0 record against CIS opponents with victories over Memorial (83-53), Laurentian (50-45), Saint Mary’s (59-54) and Queen’s (68-56).
