In the latest episode of The Brock News podcast, hosts Erica Bajer and Dan Dakin talk about the upcoming Fall Convocation. In addition to more than 950 graduands crossing the stage, the event will be marked by the historic installation of Shirley Cheechoo as Brock University’s eighth Chancellor. She replaces Ned Goodman, who will be honoured Saturday with an honorary doctorate.

Also discussed on the podcast is the story of masters student Aysha Othman, who will be the focus of a day-in-the-life video being produced by Brock’s Marketing and Communications team on convocation day. Othman, from Tanzania, recently lost her brother to malaria, and will cross the stage with a heavy heart.
