Brock University's United Way campaign goal was unveiled to be $140,000 in early October at the annual Souper Star Lunch. The goal of this year’s campaign is to raise $140,000 for the United Way of St. Catharines and District. Last year, Brock raised more than $137,000. The United Way funds 72 social service programs in the community.
Hichem Ben-El-Mechaiekh and Allan Castle, of the Faculty of Mathematics and Sciences, earned the Souper Bowl during the annual Souper Star lunch. The Portuguese bean and sausage soup they served garnered the most votes.
